War Memorial Restoration: Among the local plans to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, St Mary’s and the parish council are working together to try and repair and restore our war memorial. First established in 1921, the memorial is showing its age and is in need of approximately £10,000 of repairs. It was originally established through the donations and hard work of the people of West Malling. It is hoped that people now will want to contribute to ensure the memorial is in good condition for another generation to come.
