The Malling Society is a member of the West Kent Civic Trust and the Kent Federation of Amenity Societies. Meetings are held regularly with amenity societies.

The Society is a member of Protect Kent (The Kent branch is CPRE) and has a co-opted member on the Planning Committee of West Malling Parish Council.
